Hi Friends, I found some blooming Witch Hazel yesterday where I work (so I know it’s not been sprayed with anything nasty.) Two questions:

      1. One had chartreuse-yellow flowers and one had reddish ones. Which hazel do you want to use? Maybe it doesn’t matter.
      2. What have you done with it?

I wasn’t sure how to use it, so have some stems in a jar of water. They smell spectacular.

Joy! (And thank you!) Sita, Camano Island, WA

      Hello Sita!

Do you, by chance, have the botanical names of these 2 species of witch hazel?

My favorite website to look up plant constituents is Dr. Duke’s Phytochemical and Ethnobotanical Databases.

      https://phytochem.nal.usda.gov/phytochem/search/list

You can look up each species and see which witch you find more beneficial to your needs.

Thank you, Suzanne! I don’t know the botanical names. Thank you for the reply and suggestions.

I’m having so much fun with everyone at CMHS – learning and playing – what a wonderful group of souls you’ve magnetized! Thank you, dear one!

Sending oodles of love to you in Sand Pointe 🙂
