Create a culinary herb kitchen wreath to use all winter long!

The weather is so beautiful this time of year! Crisp at night, warm (ish) during the day and the air smells like apple cider! We’ll meet in the orchard under the apple trees and make a kitchen wreath with herbs harvested from the garden. The herbs will dry for use all winter long in soups, stews, chili, meat and veggie dishes – how cool is that?

Being an herbalist, of course we will discuss the medicine in the herbs each student chooses.

Make and take:
A fun and informative workshop with a wreath to take home that YOU made yourself! It’s super easy to make a herb wreath. There’s no experience necessary.

The fee includes herbs and wreath form. And students can pick a few apples to take home! Join us, won’t you? It’s going to be such a fun time on the farmlet with other like-minded herbies.

What you’ll need:

  • Clippers
  • Garden gloves
  • Gathering basket or bag
  • Notebook, pen, camera, beverage
  • Dress for the weather
  • Your sweet selves
