We don’t have to consume plants to be healed by them. Those of us who spend time in our gardens know this.
Before we pick our first leaf or flower, we are brought into the exquisite beauty of nature. It’s the peace and quiet that first draws attention. The utter calm that is so pleasing. We begin to notice the sounds of the area: birds calling, bees buzzing, wind rustling leaves and branches. The garden heals us by simply being.
From anise hyssop, blue violet, and calendula, to horseradish, lavender and motherwort, to oats, rosemary, yarrow and everything in between, herbs are so welcome in the garden.
Explore the many herbs to plant in your garden, their requirements, and what they bring to the table and in your remedies, medicinally and nutritionally.
At the Cedar Mountain Herb School, our motto is “Get the medicine to the people in ways that they’ll delight in taking so that healing can occur.” Included in the workshop are recipes and tips to bring the healing to YOUR people!
